Help booting macOS; it says 'macOS 10.12 is not installed on this virtual machine. Insert the installer disc and click "Restart VM'"

FIrst time dealing with virtual machines and I am quite lost. I don't have a physical cd/dvd drive so I followed some other comment I found through google and set it to ISO but that didn't seem to help much. Where do I go?
