I installed a Vmware Workstation 15 player on Ubuntu 16.04 (I run a dual boot os with windows 10).
The Vmware crashes on any attempt to run Virtual Machine, have searched online and tried a couple of solutions
as running Vmware from the terminal with the command:
vmplayer /path/to/virtual machine.
I run into this error :
I/O warning: failed to load external entity "/etc/vmware/hostd/proxy.xml"
With the Vmware not starting up.
The same problem occurs when i installed VMware workstation 15 player on my windows 10.
I have attached the Vmware log.
